I started this home based business in 2006 as a hobby and I love guns. I figured it would be fun to do and at the same time get guns cheaper for me and my friends. Well it turned out that my friends had friends & their friends had friends too. Living in the Rockford area there is only one gun shop that anybody can go to, people want something new. That is where I came in and the business has grown. Not in profits by all means but the inventory keeps growing. Now I am in the process of trying to open a real store front for KAP Guns to better serve the community.

The new store is coming together nicely! The range is all done except for lights we are waiting on and the store is getting the drywall hung now. Today is Dec. 29 2011 so the scheduled opening of mid February is looking to be quite possible. We have updated our website with the new contact telephone numbers.

I have a few firearms in stock but most everything will have to be special ordered. If I special order a handgun it should be in before the waiting period is up.
