I have set up this page to address the issue of Winnebago County trying to pass concealed carry legislation at the county level. I am in the process of putting together links to other sites with information on this subject. The links in the left hand column are great resources to debate any point an anti-gun person will bring up. In the right hand column will be links to news articles and clips from the local news stations about this issue. Please sign this online petition. The next County Board sub-committee meeting is scheduled for September 8th at 5:30 at the county administration building in room # 303. (404 Elm St. Rockford) The meetings will be every Tuesday at the same time & same place. If there is any way you can make it to a meeting please do. The Illinois State Rifle Association has had people at the sub-committee meetings in Winnebago County. They do e-mail alerts when somthing fishy is going on anywhere in Illinois. If you are not a member please join.
